As a Graduate Web Assistant for the Lubin School of Business, I support strategic branding and outreach using Python, Excel, and Google Analytics. My prior internship with NYC HPD involved predictive modeling and anomaly detection with Python and SQL. Flight Delay Prediction with AWS
Developed a machine learning model to predict flight delays using 180,000 flight records from the 2003 Airline On-Time Data on AWS. The project involved comprehensive data analysis, preprocessing, and model development to provide insights into flight operations.
Key Achievements:
  • Preprocessed and sampled 60,000 records, managing AWS resources (PuTTY, Hive tables, S3 integration).
  • Developed a decision tree model achieving 86.89% precision, with the final model selected for at least 90% accuracy and precision.
